The MS Allegra is a historic lounge ship located on the Rhine riverside promenade and a unique meeting place for everyone who wants to enjoy the river in a relaxed atmosphere.

Built in 1886, the ship spent many decades sailing the Rhine as a cargo vessel between Basel and Rotterdam. In the 1950s it was converted into a motorized coal freighter before being carefully transformed into a party ship in the 1980s, while preserving much of its historic character.

Today, the MS Allegra is permanently moored along the Rhine riverbank and invites guests to enjoy a cold beer, an aperitif, or a sundowner with beautiful river views. The upper deck is particularly popular, offering a stunning panorama of the Oberkassel riverfront and some of the most impressive sunsets over the Rhine.

Thanks to the covered open deck, outdoor heaters and blankets, visiting the MS Allegra is also a special experience during the colder months.

The crew of the MS Allegra looks forward to welcoming you on board.
